Cheltenham 2024 Tips

Now I know we’re still a couple of weeks out as I write this and a lot can change in a few weeks BUT I thought it was worth throwing a few names in to the mix early doors. Cheltenham is going to be massive again this year, crowds are predicted to bounce back and if the early season is anything to go by the racing should be top drawer.

Cheltenham 2024 tips for the upcoming Cheltenham Festival

The excitement is building for the Cheltenham Festival 2024, with the recent races serving as crucial guides for this highly anticipated event in March. The standout feature race, the Gold Cup, has seen the favourite Galopin Des Champs gaining momentum after a stunning comeback win in the Savills Chase, where he outperformed Gerri Colombe by a significant margin.

As we look ahead to the festival, several top contenders have emerged in different categories. Lossiemouth, a strong grey mare trained by Mullins, showed exceptional form by dominating the field at Cheltenham in January, making her a hot favourite for the Close Brothers Mares’ Hurdle. Having won the Triumph Hurdle last year, she seems primed to make a mark once again, displaying impressive preparation and freshness heading into the competition.

El Fabiolo, another promising contender, is set to take on a competitive field in the Queen Mother Champion Chase. The race is shaping up to be a fierce battle with notable recent winners like Energumene, Put The Kettle On, and Politologue. El Fabiolo has shown great potential by triumphing in races like the Sporting Life Arkle Challenge Trophy Novices’ Chase, proving his ability to outshine tough competition. The upcoming clash with Jonbon, a formidable competitor, adds to the anticipation of an enthralling race.

With the festival approaching rapidly, horse racing fans are eagerly awaiting the showdowns and high-stakes action that define the Cheltenham Festival. Each race holds the promise of thrilling performances and unexpected outcomes, making it a must-watch event for enthusiasts and punters alike. Stay tuned for more updates and insights as the countdown to this prestigious racing extravaganza continues. As always we’ll post again a little closer the time if much changes between now and then.

Cheltenham Festival in 2024 should by rights feature some of the best racing we’ve seen in years!

Either way that should be enough to get you started for the time being. I know a lot of people get involved with betting on Cheltenham when they’re not really fussed the rest of the year, except for perhaps the Grand National. With this in mind always remember to stick to your limits, never chase a loss and don’t get carried away. Cheltenham Festival is brilliant and can be a lot of fun as a punter if you remember to stick to the rules of common sense.
