Is Cheltenham Festival 2022 Cancelled?
Absolutely not. The UK is open for business and so is Cheltenham! After last years festival with no crowds you can expect an amazing atmosphere in 2022.

Has Cheltenham races ever been Cancelled?
Yes, it was cancelled in 2001 due to the foot & mouth crisis.  It wasn’t cancelled in 2020, just as the Covid-19 pandemic was breaking out in the UK, it was the last major sporting event to survive before restrictions came in. In 2021 the festival took place but without crowds.

What date is Cheltenham Festival 2022?
Cheltenham runs from the 15th to the 18th of March in 2022

Why is Cheltenham so popular?
Simply put it is the biggest jump festival in horse racing anywhere in the world.  Yes the Grand National is 1 big race, Cheltenham is 4 days of all big races featuring the best horses from the UK and Ireland and usually throws up some amazing gambling upsets. The punters absolutely love Cheltenham.

Is Cheltenham Festival on TV This Year?
In the UK the first 5 races of each day will feature free on ITV, this is a shame as it’s a step back from 2021 where 6 were shown.  Racing TV still shows all the races live.  If you’re not a Sky customer then of course Betfair will have all the races live on their streaming platform.
